Johnstons Group, our parent company, has an impeccable safety record. Our drivers are recruited because of their professional conduct, experience and excellent safety record. They all hold the required licences and qualifications for charter bus services throughout New Zealand. |
| Driver Training
Before any of our drivers get behind the wheel of a BusNZ.com coach, they must undertake a comprehensive training course which covers defensive driving, maintenance and commentary. |
| Coach Maintenance
All coaches follow a rigorous maintenance programme and all owner-drivers are contractually bound to follow and record all aspects of this. The busNZ.com fleet is serviced in line with the optimum service schedule required by our fleet suppliers. |
| NZ Driving Laws
All itineraries sumitted for our charter bus services must adhere strictly to New Zealand driving laws. (BusNZ can help you with these requirments) These include: - Drivers must have a 30 minute break after 5.5 hours on duty
- Required 10 hours rest in any 24 hour period
- Maximum daily on duty time is 14 hours
- Log books must be maintained by drivers at all times.
