Payment Terms and Conditions

Cash Clients

You are defined as a one off cash client if you are a hirer of Bus NZ coaches and Services, and you are not a previously approved 'credit operator' within Tourism Holding Limited.

Full obligations as stated under 'Terms of Trade' below are applicable.

In order to confirm a booking a 10% or $100 non refundable deposit is required (whichever is greater). If a deposit is not received within 7 working days of making a booking your booking may be cancelled.

Full payment is due 7 business days prior to departure. If full payment is not received 7 days prior to departure your booking may be cancelled.

Credit Operator Clients:

You may apply to be approved as a credit operator by requesting a 'Credit Application Form'. The acceptance of this application is subject to approval by the Company's duly authorised manager. Further information may be requested if required by the company.

Full obligations as stated under 'Terms of Trade' below are applicable.

Should the application be accepted, approved credit operator clients will be required to settle the account in full by the 20th of the month following the date of departure.

Bus NZ may set a maximum credit limit for an account.

Terms of Trade

  1. GST:
    Where appropriate the client is to supply their GST number.
  2. Settlement Period:
    The client must advise Bus NZ in writing WITHIN THIRTY DAYS of date of invoice, OR at least 7 days prior to departure, of any change for which liability is disputed, together with precise details of any such dispute. The balance of the account is payable as stated above. Bus NZ will not extend further credit on the ground of liability disputed outside the thirty day period, or where a copy of an invoice is requested as a reason for non payment.
  3. Services:
    The client acknowledges that the services supplied under this agreement shall remain subject to all other terms and conditions related thereto.
  4. Liability:
    The client is liable for all legal and related incidental costs incurred by the company in the recovery of all amounts owing as a result of any breach of this agreement.
  5. Payment:
    Payment of deposit is to be made when booking has been confirmed and full payments must be made 7 days prior to travel
  6. Cancellations:
    Cancellations received within 2 days of a departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations received in writing within 30 days of a departure date are not subject to a cancellation fee.
